Haynes needed some help to survive as the Q appeared in the window followed by the 64. Nothing changed on the 63 runout as Haynes found a clutch double on the stone bubble.

Place Cools Off Farmboy

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Johnnie Place

After an early position open to 14,000, John "Farmboy" Kurfman three-bet to 45,000 from the button. In the big blind, Johnnie Place jammed covering the table and it folded back to Kurfman.

"How badly can I just get coolered?" Kurfman lamented as he flicked in the call for around 120,000 total.

John Kurfman: KK All in
Johnnie Place: AA

Kurfman immediately knew he was in bad shape and he got the unfortunate news as Place flipped over the ones. The 842 flop gave Kurfman some backdoor diamonds hope until the board ran out 79 and Farmboy was eliminated.

The field now sits at 35 players remaining, as hand-for-hand will begin after one more elimination.

Reynolds Scoops With Top Two in Big Stack Battle

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Terry Harrell opened to 11,000 from under the gun before John Reynolds three-bet to 30,000 from the cutoff, and Harrell called.

On the AQ8 flop, Harrell check-called a bet of 30,000 from Reynolds.

Harrell checked once more on the 3 turn as Reynolds bet 55,000. Harrell quickly announced all-in and Reynolds shrugged as he tossed in a chip to call off his 164,000 stack.

John Reynolds: AQ All in
Terry Harrell: AJ

Both had flopped top pair but Reynolds had top two and the only spade as he had a lock on the hand. The two saw the inconsequential 4 on the river as Reynolds dragged a huge one.
