Justin Arnwine limped the button before Russ Dunlevy raised to 150,000. Arnwine called and the flop came Q♦4♥10♥.
Both players checked to the 7♦ turn, where Dunlevy bet 50,000. Arwine called to the 8♠ river and Dunlevy checked. Arnwine then moved all in, and Dunlevy folded.
Despite dropping that pot, Dunlevy has been winning most small pots so far in heads-up and has climbed over 3,000,000.
Hamid Izadi raised to 125,000 on the button and Justin Arnwine called in the big blind.
Izadi bet 200,000 on the 8♥7♠5♠ flop, Arnwine wound up his cat, and Izadi called for 1,600,000.
Hamid Izadi: 10♣8♣
Justin Arnwine: 8♠2♠
Both players showed top pair, but Izadi was ahead with his ten-kicker. Arnwine had a flush draw going to the 8♦ turn as they both improved to trips, while the 6♠ river gave Arnwine his flush and sent Izadi to the rail in third place.
"What do you want to do?" Russ Dunlevy asked Arnwine.
"Do you want to look at the numbers?" Arnwine replied.
"We've made it this far. Let's play," Dunlevy said.
Kade Venkatesan moved all in for 900,000 in the small blind and Russ Dunlevy called in the big blind.
Kade Venkatesan: A♥8♣
Russ Dunlevy: A♣10♣
The Q♦7♠4♠ flop kept Dunlevy in the lead with his ten-kicker, while Venkatesan failed to catch up on the 9♣ turn or 6♣ river and was eliminated in fourth place.
Kade Venkatesan raised to 100,000 in the cutoff before Justin Arnwine grabbed his cat and shoved all in from the small blind. Venkatesan folded and Arnwine showed J♣J♥.
A few hands later, Arnwine opened to 100,000 on the button and Venkatesan called in the big blind.
The flop came 2♦9♠6♣ and Arnwine bet 75,000. Venkatesan pushed all in for 700,000. "Why didn't you just do that preflop?" Arnwine said as he mucked A♥10♠.
Russ Dunlevy and Justin Arnwine checked to the river in a limped pot with the board showing 6♣10♦5♠6♦A♥. Dunlevy then led out for 80,000, and Arnwine called.
"You got me," Dunlevy said, and Arnwine showed K♠J♠. "King-high? You sick f**k. I'm just going to leave," Dunlevy said.
Dunlevy limped again from under the un a few hands later, and Hamid Izadi in the small blind and Kade Venkatesan came along.
The flop came A♠4♠5♥ and Dunlevy bet 100,000. Only Izadi called and they both checked the 2♥ turn.
Izadi then led out for 300,000 on the 3♦ river and Dunlevy took a minute before calling.
"We chop," Izadi said, showing A♣8♦ and playing the straight on board.
"I thought about raising your ass," Dunlevy replied as he turned over Q♦J♣.
On the last hand before break, Arnwine raised to 80,000 under the gun and Dunlevy called in the big blind.
"Confiscate the cat," Dunlevy said as they saw a flop of 8♥8♠J♥. Arnwine then bet 80,000, Dunlevy raised to 175,000, and Arwine reraised to 350,000.
Dunlevy folded Q♠J♦ and Arnwine showed him the 8♦ as they went off on break.
Kade Venkatesan raised to 85,000 under the gun and Hamid Izadi called in the big blind.
The flop came 8♦4♠4♦ and Venkatesan bet 60,000. Izadi called and the A♠ fell on the turn.
Venkatesan then bet another 200,000, but this time Izadi moved all in and Venkatesan folded.
A few hands later, Izadi opened to 80,000 under the gun and Venkatesan three-bet to 200,000 on the button. Izadi shoved again, and Venkatesan folded once more.
