Dunlevy Comes From Behind to Double

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Kade Venkatesan raised to 85,000 on the button before Russ Dunlevy three-bet to 360,000 in the small blind. Venkatesan then four-bet to 1,185,000.

"Probably committed my dumb ass with this one. I don't think I can come back from this one, boys," Dunlevy said as he went deep into the tank.

"Let's just play this one out," announcing a call without waiting to see whether Venkatesan's bet had him covered. The stacks were counted down, and Dunlevy was indeed all in for 1,160,000.

Dunlevy found himself dominated until the flop brought 7♥10♠4♥ to give him a pair and the lead. The rest of the board ran out K♣4♠ and Dunlevy doubled up. The pot was pushed to him while he ran away from the table, missing the next few hands.

"He's in another universe," Justin Arnwine added.

In a limped pot between the blinds, Justin Arnwine bet 40,000 on a flop of 10♣4♦Q♣ and Russ Dunlevy called.

"Check-o-Slovakia," Dunlevy said on the K♥ turn, and Arnwine bet 200,000. Dunlevy again called and the 7♥ fell on the river.

The Hello Kitty was again wound up, and Arnwine moved all in.

"Really have to put my cane on for this one," Dunlevy said as he considered the decision for his last 850,000. "They won't let me play again if I make this call. He's probably going to show the cat the bluff. He has nine-high at best," he continued.

Dunlevy ended up folding. "You called my hand!" Arnwine shouted out, turning over 9♣2♣.

"You sick f**k!" Dunlevy yelled as Arnwine took the pot.

"When I said I had nine-high, I was like, how does he know?" Arnwine wondered.

Venkatesan Sniffs Out a Bluff From Izadi

Kade Venkatesan raised to 85,000 under the gun and Hamid Izadi called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 6♠3♥5♣ flop. Izadi then led out for 100,000 on the 6♣ turn and Venkatesan called.

The river was the A♥ and Izadi checked over to Venkatesan, who bet 215,000. Izadi then raised to 650,000, and Venkatesan called.

Izadi showed J♥7♠ for a missed straight draw, while Venkatesan had A♠10♣ for a rivered two pair to win the pot.

"Don't do it to him with the Mario Lemieux. He has the jersey," Russ Dunlevy said going to the flop, which came Q♣3♥3♣. The 6♥ turn improved Arnwine to a full house, and Rigby was already drawing dead by the 9♣ river as he was eliminated in fifth place.

Arnwine Winds Up the Cat

Justin Arnwine raised to 80,000 under the gun and Kade Venkatesan called in the small blind, as did Russ Dunlevy in the big blind.

The flop came J♠9♥6♥ and Venkatesan led out for 95,000. Dunlevy folded, but Arnwine grabbed his Hello Kitty and wound it up before moving all in. Venkatesan quickly folded.

Nicholas Rigby then raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and Arnwine shoved in the big blind.

"I might win this one. You didn't wind the cat," Rigby reminded him before folding for his last 700,000.

Rigby checked to Arnwine who bet 110,000, and Rigby called. Arnwine bet another 300,000 on the K♠ river, and Rigby snap-called.

Arnwine showed 3♠3♦ for a set, and Rigby flashed Q♦7♠ for two pair as he gave up the pot.

The next hand, Rigby jammed again from under the gun for 675,000. "I'm all in as well," Russ Dunlevy said on the button, and the blinds got out of the way.

Kade Venkatesan then opened to 65,000 on the button and Arnwine called in the big blind. Venkatesan continued for 50,000 on the A♥8♥5♥ flop, and Arnwine folded.

Venkatesan raised to 65,000 again the next hand and Hamid Izadi called in the big blind.

The flop came Q♣3♥9♦ and Venkatesan bet 50,000. Izadi called and they both checked the 10♥ turn. Izadi then led out for 375,000 on the 8♦ river, and Venkatesan folded.

Venkatesan opened to 65,000 for the third hand in a row the next hand, but this time Rigby three-bet to 215,000 in the big blind. Venkatesan gave up his hand.
