Dunlevy Clocks Himself, Then Doubles
Craig Delisle raised to 40,000 in middle position and was called by Nicholas Rigby in the cutoff, as well as Russ Dunlevy and Roy Kim in the blinds.
The flop came A♥8♥Q♣ and action checked to Rigby who bet 80,000. Only Dunlevy called.
The turn was the 6♥ and Rigby bet another 150,000. Dunlevy again called to see the 10♦ river, where Rigby bet enough to put Dunlevy all in.
"That's why I played it the way I did, in theory," Dunlevy said. Both players then had hot chocolates delivered, and Dunlevy took a minute to reach into his wallet to pay the waiter as he continued to tank.
"Betting on the come-ski, I suppose. I call the clock on myself, it's been way too long," he added as another few minutes went by. A tournament official began the countdown, and Dunlevy ended up calling for his last 470,000.
He showed A♦8♦ for two pair, and Rigby quickly tossed his cards into the muck.
