The turn was the Q♣ and Shields bet another 6,000. His opponent again called to the J♣ river, where Shields moved all in for 18,800.
His opponent tanked for more than a minute before throwing his cards into the muck, and Shields took the pot without a showdown.
Jose Cayetano bet 1,600 from the button on a flop of 10♥Q♠3♣ and the big blind called.
The turn was the 7♣ and Cayetano bet another 3,200. His opponent again called to see the 3♥ river, where Cayetano bet 11,000. The big blind quickly called, and Cayetano showed 10♠3♠ for a full house to win the pot.
At another table, Sean Byars and Spencer Meads had gone to the river with around 10,000 in the pot and the board showing 2♠5♣J♥J♦Q♠. Byars then bet 7,000 from the big blind, and Meads raised to 25,000 in the small blind.
Byars took a minute before calling, and Meads showed Q♣J♣ for a rivered full house. Byars let out a loud sigh as he tossed A♥J♠ into the muck, surrendering the big pot to Meads.
Heads-up on a flop of 2♣3♠5♣, a player on the button bet 2,000 and Tyler Shields called in middle position.
Shields led out for 5,100 on the Q♠ turn and his opponent called. Both players then checked the A♠ river.
"Two pair," Shields said, turning over A♥5♠.
"Very lucky river for you," his opponent added as he mucked.
"I know," Shields replied.
With around 7,000 in the pot on a flop of Q♣4♠5♦, Matthew Riebel bet 2,400 from the small blind and Lee Sommers called in the hijack.
The turn was the 7♣ and Riebel bet another 7,000. Sommers again called to the 8♥ river as Riebel slowed down and checked. Sommers then moved all in.
"Tried three times to get you out of there. Nice stubbornness," Riebel said as he quickly folded.
Three-handed on a flop of 7♦6♠10♠, Roger Laing bet 2,200 from the hijack and the button called. The big blind then raised to 5,200, and both opponents called.
The turn was the 5♣ and action checked to Laing who bet 5,000. Both the button and big blind called, and the 3♦ river was checked down.
Laing showed J♣10♥ for a pair of tens, and his two opponents both mucked as Laing took the big pot.

John Twyman three-bet to 4,500 on the button and an opponent in middle position called.
The flop came 8♠Q♥7♣ and Twyman continued for 1,500. His opponent called and they both checked the 10♥ turn.
The middle-position player led out for 2,500 on the 2♦ river, and Twyman raised to 6,000. His opponent quickly called, and Twyman turned over A♥A♦ to win the pot.
