Akash Patel opened to 16,000 and made the call after Anthony Potis three-bet to 40,000 on the button.
Patel checked the 2♣J♦9♥ flop, calling again when Potis continued for 25,000. Both players then checked through the 3♠ turn, with action repeating on the 2♦ river.
Potis turned over J♥10♥ for two pair, good enough to claim the pot as Patel mucked.
Akash Patel opened to 16,000 in early position, and Richard Wilburn made the call on the button. Brandon Sorge moved all in from the big blind, with Patel calling and Wilburn getting out of the way.
Brandon Sorge: 5♠5♥
Akash Patel: J♠J♣
Patel was in great shape, and Sorge was unable to improve on the 10♣6♦8♠10♦8♥ runout. Patel scored the first knockout of the day, ending Sorge's run in 18th position.
