An opponent from early position got the hand started with a raise to 700. Brandon Howard came in with a call from the cutoff, and Han Lam also came along with a call on the button.
The original raiser checked the 2♦Q♥7♠ flop, which led to a bet of 2,000 from Howard. Lam called, and the original raiser folded.
The 9♥ turn led to another bet of 2,000 from Howard and Lam called again.
Howard slowed down with a check on the 5♠ river. Lam put out a 5,000 chip and was quickly called by Howard.
Lam showed an overpair with K♥K♦. Howard revealed he had A♥Q♣ as Lam took down the pot.
