Welcome Back for Day 2 of the $600 Main Event

RGPS Rings

One of the most popular stops on tour, and the numbers didn't disappoint again, as a total of 645 entries were recorded over three starting flights in the $600 Main Event at the 2025 RunGood Poker Series Grand Prix Tunica II. There will be 80 players returning to their seats to start Day 2, all of whom have locked up a piece of the $200,000 guaranteed prizepool, which is now sitting well above $300,000.

Heading into the final day, there are many regulars from the circuit who are looking to add to their jewelry collection of RGPS victory rings. One of those is the chip leader, Wesley Jones, who would like to add a second one to his trophy case just from Tunica this week. Jones was the winner in the PLO event for around $5,000 and is coming off a third-place finish in the $800 Main Event in Tulsa just one month ago.

There will be some stiff competition from players who have quite a poker pedigree over the next 12 hours. The likes of Nicholas Rigby (533,000), Eric Salazar (320,000), and the one-and-only Chris Moneymaker (202,000) will likely have something to say before all is said and done.

The cards are scheduled to go in the air at 12 p.m. local time with just one minute remaining in level 14 with the blinds at 3,000/6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante. From there, the blinds will be increased to 40 minutes in length throughout the final day. There will be a 15-minute break after every three levels and a dinner break will be discussed later in the day.

The confirmed prizepool and payouts will be posted before the start of the day when they become available. The short stacks have already locked up at least a min-cash and will be looking to spin up their stack early and often.

Keep it locked here for all of the live updates from the PokerNews team en route to crowning a champion in one of the largest fields on the RGPS tour.
