Richard Bolden raised to 12,000 on the button and Stephen Morgan defended from the big blind. The flop came 7♠7♣7♦ and Morgan check-called a bet of 13,000 from Bolden.
The turn was the 4♣ and both players checked to the 6♥ on the river. Two more checks and Morgan turned over A♥Q♣.
"Does the queen play?" Bolden asked before he sent his cards to the muck.

There was a raise to 14,000 in middle position and Josh Butler called next to act. The rest of the table folded and they went heads-up to a flop of 9♠9♥4♣. Butler was faced with a bet of 25,000 and he called to see the 6♥ on the turn.
This time, it was checked to Butler who counted out a bet of 40,000. His opponent thought for over 30 seconds and then decided to send his cards into the muck.

Dean Keown raised it up in early position and picked up three callers preflop. The flop came K♦3♠3♥ and the big blind led out with a bet of 17,000. Keown just called and so did Jason Maeroff in the cutoff.
The turn was the 4♠ and the big blind checked this time. Keown splashed in a bet of 25,000 and both Maeroff and the big blind called. The 5♠ hit the river and the action checked around. Keown flipped over K♠Q♠ and both of his opponents flashed a king as well but couldn't beat Keown's kicker.

The remaining 50 players are going on, presumably, their last 15-minute break of the day. They will return to a 5,000 big blind and are playing down to just 30 players, which should end within the next couple of levels.
On the side, they are still running $65 10-person flip 'n go satellites for the main event. They have also started $130 5-person flip 'n go satellites as well. If you are interested, make your way to the poker room at the Horseshoe Casino Tunica for your chance to join the third and final starting flight which will be getting underway shortly.
Jason Maeroff raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and the button reraised to 38,000. The blinds folded and Maeroff called to see a flop of 8♦7♣3♠. Maeroff checked to the button who continued with a bet of 18,000 and Maeroff called.
The turn was the 6♦ and Maeroff just ripped all in, putting his opponent to the test for his remaining stack of 92,000. His opponent wasted little time before mucking his cards and Maeroff collected the pot.

Byron Abernathy raised it up from under the gun and Eric Salazar flat-called in the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of 9♣8♥4♥ and the two players quickly got all of their chips in the middle with Abernathy being the player at risk for around 35,000.
Byron Abernathy: K♥K♣
Eric Salazar: Q♥J♥
The turn was the 6♥ and Salazar made a flush but Abernathy was still drawing live with a potentially higher flush. However, the river was the 8♠ and Salazar's flush was enough to eliminate Abernathy.
