Egsy Joins the Big Stacks

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Following an open raise to 1,600 by the cutoff, Egsy simply pushed all-in from the small blind. His opponent called after half a minute for around 34,000 with the AJ and was trailing the QQ of Egsy. Nothing changed on the 107632 runout and the rich got richer.

Kanasuke Jams Up His Stack

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Kanasuke called a squeeze to 12,000 and then check-called the J103 flop for 11,000 to see the 9 on the turn. His opponent on the button wanted to move all-in out of turn already. Kanasuke then pushed all-in and his opponent went into the tank before folding.

The Eliminations Keep on Coming

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
maanya
maanya

In the first update of player numbers for a while, the field was bumped to 395 entries of which only 279 contenders remain. "maanya" was responsible for the latest knockout when her 1010 prevailed in a preflop all-in versus an even shorter-stacked player with 33.

The Q5485 board changed nothing and maanya raked in the pot to climb near the starting stack again.

Large Double for sixsense

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Having just flipped out a shorter stack with AK versus 22, the table chip leader raised to 1,500 and sixsense three-bet to 6,000 to then call a four-bet to 12,000. On the A44 flop, it checked to sixsense and he bet 6,000 to then do so again for 8,000 on the J turn.

That led to the Q on the river on which it checked to sixsense again, who bet 16,000. His opponent glanced at the stack and pushed all-in, sixsense called for 30,100 and doubled with AJ versus KK.

Koichi Dents Haruto

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Four ways to the 1065J turn, Haruto bet 2,500 in the small blind and the big blind called. Koichi raised to 6,500 in the cutoff and Haruto was the only caller. On the A river, Haruto check-called for 15,000 and flashed his J10 for two pair but was beaten by the 55 of Koichi.

Yukimimi Scores a Knockout

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Right after the players come back from the break, two shorter stacks collide with pocket pairs. Yukimimi had the best of it with 99 versus 77 and despite almost all paint on the AQ810K board, nothing changed.

First Break of Day 1a Underway

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

An unofficial field of 315 entries thus far has been whittled down to around 277 players and they have been sent on their first scheduled ten-minute break. Another four levels of late registration remain for the first of four starting flights in this tournament.
