HENZAN Denied a Knockout

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

HENZAN check-called the all-in of a short stack on the 9856 turn for around 12,000 and showed the A7 for the made straight, up against AA. The river was the 7 and the shorter stack escaped from elimination, but had to settle for a chop as the flush draw bricked.

Up next was a battle of the blinds in which HENZAN bet 1,000 on the Q102 flop, his neighbour check-called. They checked down the 4 turn and Q river for HENZAN to win the pot with 108 versus A8.

A Triple Up and More for CVC

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

In a three-way all-in, CVC was at risk with 66 versus KQ and AK. His pocket pair flopped quads on the Q66Q8 board and the player with ace-king was eliminated in the side pot.

CVC then three-bet small from 1,200 to 2,300 and the initial raiser called. The QQ2 flop was checked and the K turn saw a bet of 2,000. CVC raised to 8,000 and took it down.

Shio Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Shio raised to 1,000 and subsequently four-bet to 12,000 when his table neighbour bumped it up to 3,000, winning the pot without showdown. He then opened to 1,000 and the big blind called. On the 832 flop, the big blind led for 600 and Shio called. Both checked the 3 turn and the K followed on the river. It checked to Shio and his bet of 7,000 won the pot.
