Bumb's Better Kicker

Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between James Markma in middle position and Jeff Bumb on the button.

The flop read Q♦J♦Q♠ and Markma bet 1,000 which prompted Bumb to raise to 2,500 and Markma called.

Markma checked the 9♥ turn to Bumb who bet 4,000 and Markma called while both players checked the river 4♠.

Bumb turned over K♦J♠ for queens up with a king, which was better than Markma's J♥8♥ for queens up with a nine and he took down the early pot.
