A total of 89 entrants came into the final flight of the RGPS Main Event out here at Atlantis Casino in Reno, Nevada. This $600 buy-in tournament saw the final grouping of the prize pool generated to bring the overall prize pool to $188,700. After a lengthy journey into the night, just 11 players bagged up from this flight into Day 2.
Leading the way is Nicholas Quazzo (563,000), who ended the night with the final elimination. Hailing from San Francisco, this is Quazzo’s seventh recorded live cash. He had a deep run in the Hendon Mob Mid Major championship with the RGPS out in Thunder Valley and he looks to utilize his big stack to take down another RGPS ring event.

Defending champion Dustin Cavanaugh was unable to defend his title, ensuring that a new champion would arise. Others that were unable to put chips in a bag included Jeffrey Day, Mallory Klaus, Matthew Betti, and Michael P Harris. Their chances for a title will have to come at another stop.
Play continued into Level 16 so these players will return to the time that was on the earliest flight. Play ended in that flight with 29:38 left in Level 14, with blinds at 3,000/6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante. This will be the flight that players return to on Day 2, unless another flight ends earlier than this.
