The hand began when Daniel Lowery opened to 2,100 from under the gun. This led to calls from Elisa Nakagawa on the button and Paul Vang in the small blind. Joseph Ricardo wanted to play for more and re-raised it to 8,500. Lowery and Vang both called, while Nakagawa folded.
Vang checked the 3♠4♠8♥ flop before Ricardo bet 6,400. Lowery called, and Vang opted out with a fold.
The 2♠ turn did not slow down Ricardo, who bet 17,000 and was called by Lowery.
Ricardo kept up the aggression on the K♠ river, this time betting 37,500. Lowery gave it some thought, but eventually decided on a fold to award the pot to Ricardo.
