Paletta Catches Hults

Michael Hults began the hand with a raise to 1,800 from the cutoff. James Low called on the button, and David Paletta came along with a call from the small blind.

Paletta checked the K♥3♥2♦ flop before Hults bet 2,500. Low folded, and Paletta opted to call to send them to a turn.

The 4♦ turn led to another check from Paletta. This time, Hults bet 5,700. Paletta once again called.

Paletta chose to take the initiative on the K♣ river with a bet of 5,600. Hults gave it some thought before he put Paletta all-in. Paletta snap called to be at risk for 15,600.

Hults showed 9♥8♥ for nine high, while Paletta showed 6♦6♥ for two pair to take down the pot and double.
