Ryan Pham

Level 14: 3,000/6,000

Ryan Pham sent his opponent to the rail in dominant fashion. The two got the chips in preflop with his opponent showing A2, while Pham revealed he had 99.

His opponent hit his ace, but that ace on the flop came with a nine as the flop fanned out 59A.

The Q turn ended the hand, but Pham managed to improve to four of a kind when the 9 hit the river.

James Hartigan
James Hartigan

James Hartigan raised to 12,000 from the cutoff. Lian Liu responded from the small blind with an all-in. Hartigan quickly called to put Liu at risk.

Lian Liu: A5All in
James Hartigan: AK

Hartigan had Liu in deep trouble, but the flop had something else in store for Hartigan as it came out 95J to give Liu the lead after he hit his five.

The 6 turn and the 4 river completed the board to award Liu the double and leave Hartigan with a short stack.

Hartigan was unable to get back off the mat as he busted shortly after and was seen leaving the tournament area.

Turbulent Hand Between Kapoor and Perski

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Level 13: 3,000/5,000
Veronica Perski opened the action with a raise to 12,000 from early position before Rajeev Kapoor chose to shove from the cutoff. Perski did not waste any time making the call once the table folded to her to be at risk for her tournament life.

Veronica Perski: KKAll in
Rajeev Kapoor: AA

Kapoor and Perski collided in a cooler that appeared to be the demise of Perski as they went into the runout.

The flop gave a jolt to Perski as it came K3Q to give Perski the lead with top set as she spiked a two outer to improve.

This did not last long as Kapoor retook the lead when the A came on the turn to create yet another lead change in the race.

The river did not have any more drama as the 8 peeled to award Kapoor the pot as Perski was eliminated.

Level 13: 3,000/5,000

Idris Yonisi: K8All in
Kong Wang: A4

Wang held the slight edge before the flop, but the flop complicated that as it fanned out Q910 to give Yonisi a straight draw.

The 5 was a brick, and the 5 completed the board to award Wang the pot as Yonisi was eliminated.
