Coomes' Good Fortune Lasts One Hand
Level 17
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
On the next hand after his fortunate double up against Kevin Davis, Thomas Coomes and Dale Stafford saw the turn on a board of 10♦Q♠10♠9♣. Coomes then got in his last 220,000 from the small blind, and Davis put him at risk in the cutoff.
Coomes showed K♠J♥ for a straight, but Stafford had flopped a full house with Q♥10♥. Coomes was already drawing dead by the 5♣ river, and he was sent to the rail.
"I folded king-ten. What a hand," Matthew Lawrence added.
Delilah Lerner busted on another table at the hands of fellow RunGood ambassador Craig Welko. According to Welko, he made a full house with king-queen, while Lerner had a straight with ace-jack to hit the rail and bring the field down to the final three tables.
