Craig Welko raised to 225,000 on the button and Mike Scarborough and Jack Hays called in the blinds.
All three players checked the 8♣6♥5♣ flop. Welko then bet 275,000 on the 7♠ turn, and Scarborough moved all in for 1,300,000. Hays called, while Welko got out of the way.
"You got the nuts? Damn," Scarborough said as he showed K♦9♦, but Hays had 10♠9♠ for the nut straight. The river was the 8♦, and Scarborough was eliminated in third place.
