Kellner Picks Off Chilton For a Bustout

Mike Chilton bet 2,000 from the cutoff on a board of 4A36 and Erica Kellner called in the small blind.

Kellner then led out for 2,000 on the J river, and Chilton moved all in for 8,800. Kellner tanked for a minute, but she eventually called and turned over 52 for a flush. Chilton tossed K9 into the muck and made his exit as one of the first bustouts of the day.

Allen Leads the River

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 9Q4, a player on the button bet 2,500 and Jason Allen called in the big blind.

The turn was the A and the button bet another 3,000. Allen again called, and the K fell on the river. Allen then led out for 6,500, and his opponent quickly folded.

May Calls Down Chilton

Mike Chilton bet 1,000 from the big blind on a flop of 395 and Jasper May called in the cutoff.

Chilton bet another 2,000 on the 2 turn, and May again called. The river was the 2 and Chilton bet 4,000. May called once more, and Chilton showed J9 for two pair. May, though, had Q9 to win the pot with his queen-kicker.

"That's dirty," Chilton said.

Kittell Shows an Eight

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Three players checked to the turn on a board of J84J when Matthew Kittell bet 1,200 from the big blind. An opponent then raised to 2,400 under the gun, and Kittell called.

Both players checked the 3 river, and Kittell showed 98 for two pair to win the pot.

Defending champion Jasper May and Alan Percal are among the first entries so far today.

New Group of Players Go Ring-Chasing on Day 1b of the RGPS Southern Indiana Main Event

Another crop of hopefuls will descend on Caesars Southern Indiana today for Day 1b of the RunGood Poker Series Golden Expedition Southern Indiana $800 Main Event at 6 p.m. local time.

Players on the second of four starting flights will begin with a starting stack of 30,000. Levels will be 30 minutes throughout the day. Late registration is open until the end of Level 8, with unlimited reentries available during the registration period. The day will conclude once 12.5 percent of the field remains.

Day 1a yesterday saw 46 total entries, with five players already securing their spots for Day 2. RunGood ambassador Carl Masters bagged up a massive chip lead with 565,000, while fellow ambassador Delilah Lerner also made it through with 132,000. Others advancing include Dylan Stanfield (307,000), Ken Ware (230,000), and Patty Till (152,000).

There are still two more opening flights to come tomorrow, with Day 1c beginning at 11 a.m. and Day 1d at 6 p.m. All surviving players then return for Day 2 on August 23 at 1 p.m. The action on Day 2 will pick up at the earliest finishing time from one of the starting flights. Day 1a ended with 23 minutes remaining in Level 15 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an 8,000 big blind ante.
