Allred Bounces Opponent
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
A player from early position raised to 1,600 and was called by Scott Allred in the big blind.
Both players checked the J♦Q♥2♠ flop to bring the 9♠ turn.
Allred led out for 1,800 and faced a raise to 7,000. Allred responded with a re-raise to 15,000 before his opponent jammed. Allred called to put his opponent at risk.
Opponent: J♠J♥
Scott Allred: 10♥8♥
His opponent flopped top set, but it was Allred who had the best of it with one card to go with a turned straight.
The 3♣ did not pair the board as Allred took down a healthy pot as he builds a six-figure stack.
