Costigan and Schwartz checked to the turn on a board of K♥9♥2♣Q♦. Costigan bet 30,000, and Schwartz called.

The 7♦ river was checked through. "Payout!" Buckner shouted out, revealing 5♠2♠. Costigan had Q♥6♣, while Schwartz turned over Q♠8♥ for top pair with an eight-kicker to win the pot and send Buckner to the rail.
