Day 2 of RGPS Passport Southern Indiana $800 Main Event Gets Underway at 1 p.m.

Day 2 of the $800 Main Event at the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season is set to resume at 1:00 p.m. local time here at Caesars Southern Indiana. The four Day 1 starting flights saw a total of 321 entries, 38 of which will be returning for the final day of action. The remaining players will be battling it out for a piece of the $224,700 prize pool with the first-place prize of $47,787 going to the winner, along with the RGPS ring.

Day 1a attracted 46 runners, with 5 advancing to Day 2. Gene Grieshaber bagged nearly half the chips in play during the opening flight with 642,000 and will head into Day 2 as the overall chip leader.

Day 1b saw even more action, with 84 challengers showing up, though only 10 made it through. Rodney Deaton climbed to the top of the leaderboard with 534,000 and sits third overall in the counts.

Day 1c had a solid turnout, considering it was during Derby Day, with 95 entries recorded. Of the 11 who bagged, it was Jasper May who ended the flight as the player on top with 505,000.

Once the racing festivities wrapped up, Day 1d proved to be the biggest flight of them all, with a total of 96 entries tallied. Of the 12 who survived, it was Gary Morris who emerged as the chip leader with an impressive 563,000. He will enter the final day in second behind Grieshaber.

Also still in the hunt are RunGood ambassadors Craig Welko (200,000), Chris Audrain (99,000), and Duster Ellis (89,000).
