Qi bet from the small blind position before Thu Tran shipped it in response to put Qi to a decision for all his chips. Qi quickly called, and the cards were on their back.
Tran showed 3♣3♦ for a turned set, but it was no good as he found out the bad news that Qi had 8♥8♣ for a higher set to leave Tran with crumbs.
The very next hand, Deven Cannon opened to 12,000 from under the gun. Tran shoved for his remaining 19,500 from the cutoff before Alex Garcia also shoved for 31,500 from the big blind. Cannon called to put both at risk.

Cannon was in a great position to score a double knockout as they went to a runout.
The 10♦4♠Q♠ flop kept Cannon well in control as Tran was drawing to two outs and Garcia was searching for an ace.
The J♣ gave Garcia some additional outs as he hit a gutshot to gain some equity, but Cannon held the better straight draw and had the best hand with blockers to boot.
Garcia would hit his card when the K♦ peeled on the river to give Cannon a set he didn't want as Garcia spiked a straight.
Tran was eliminated, and Garcia took down the pot.
