Ariah Nead got it in for 70,000 against Erle Mankin as Nead was at risk for his tournament life.

It appeared to be the end of the road for Nead as Mankin had a significant edge as they went to a flop.

That changed in a hurry when the flop came 7♠Q♠4♠ to give Nead a set of fours. Mankin was far from out of it as he held a spade for a flush draw.

Mankin retook the lead when the K♠ hit the turn to hit a flush.

The hand would see a third lead change when the K♦ hit the river to improve Nead to a full house to keep his tournament hopes alive late on Day 1d.
