Kashiwagi Waves Goodbye to Wagar
Level 16
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Bret Wagar shoved for his final 112,000 from the hijack before Warren Kashiwagi made the call out of the small blind to put Wagar at risk.
Bret Wagar: K♦Q♦
Warren Kashiwagi: 7♠7♥
Wagar needed some help to stay in contention, but the flop brought no relief when it came 2♦8♣3♠ to keep Kashiwagi in the lead.
The A♥ was of no relevance to Wagar as he was down to six outs with one card left.
Wagar would see the final card of his tournament when the 10♣ hit the river to eliminate him from Day 1d.
