McEvoy Survives, Lawrence Doubles
Francis Deesing opened in early position, and Hassan Mihankhah made the call in middle position. Aaron McEvoy moved all in for his last 29,000 in the cutoff, and Caleb Levesque promptly four-bet to 87,000 on the button.
Deesing got out of the way, and Mihankhah confirmed the raise amount before making the call.
Mihankhah checked the 2♥K♦8♠ flop and called again after Levesque continued for 20,000. The Q♣ turn produced a pair of checks, and Mihankhah led out for 25,000 on the 4♠ river.
Levesque folded to give Mihankhah the side pot, and the final two hands were turned up.
Aaron McEvoy: A♣Q♦
Hassan Mihankhah: 10♣10♥
Mihankhah revealed his pocket tens, but McEvoy revealed his pair of queens to stay alive.
At the other table, Matthew Lawrence was collecting a big pot after doubling up.
