Wakeman Rising

Level 11 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Matthew "mjw006" Wakeman opened to 6,660 from under the gun just before the blinds were to go up and he was called by "Körrinho" on the button and "Cp6uja007" in the big blind.

On a {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop, "Cp6uja007" check-raised from 12,676 to 38,458 and Wakeman jammed to force out cold-caller "Körrinho" while "Cp6uja007" called all-in or a few big blinds less.

Wakeman had flopped bottom set against bottom two pair and earned the bounty thanks to two blanks on turn and river.

A Triple Up and Two Bustouts

Level 10 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

"dujo123" raised from under the gun and Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn called on the button. Short stack "Leanod" jammed for one third of the starting stack and was called both ways. The remaining active players checked down the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board and "Leanod" tripled up with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

"Kofi89" was not as fortunate and ran with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} into the aces of "digopapel".

And the next short stack to fall was Gediminas "Gedis92" Uselis. He got it in with {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on the button against initial raiser Daniil "Dancer King" Kiselev's {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the mighty ducks held up.

Kelopuro and TruthBeTold7 Among Next Casualties

Level 9 : 1,250/2,500, 325 ante
Muka82 busts Lrslzk
Muka82 busts Lrslzk

On the same table as Ben "Spraggy" Spragg, a battle of the blinds emerged in which "fers223" raised it up and "TruthBeTold7" called with slightly more than the starting stack. On the {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, "fers223" bet 12,900 and picked up a call before betting the {10-Hearts} turn once more for 29,946.

"TruthBeTold7" jammed for 88,542 with the {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for an open-ender and flush draw, as "fers223" held {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for the overpair. The river came a blank {j-Spades} and the bounty was shipped over to "fers223".

A high-profile name to run out of chips was Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro. Already on a shorter stack, the Finn was at risk with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} against the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} of "Muka82" and found no help on the {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board.

Therme Loses To Emelyanov

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

In the last hand before the break, a three-bet pot emerged between Roman "Radioromashka" Emelyanov and Jonathan "Corback_fr" Therme on a table filled with several other notables.

Emelyanov min-raised from under the gun and called a three-bet to 12,000 by Therme from two seats over. The {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop brought a check-call of 9,000 by Emelyanov and they then checked down the {10-Hearts} turn.

After the {k-Hearts} river, Emelyanov check-called a bet of 35,000 and Therme was caught bluffing with {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} as Emelyanov had {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for top pair.

"milennial" and "largomen1"

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante
Bounty for milennial
Bounty for milennial

According to Wikipedia, the Federal Reserve Board defines millennials as "members of the generation born between 1981 and 1996", as does the American Psychological Association and Ernst and Young.

Whether or not the player with the alias "milennial" falls under the category remains a secret for now but he just scored a knockout and picked up a $250 bounty portion for the pocket and on top of the own head.

"gilcebola" had min-raised to 4,000 on the hijack and "milennial" three-bet to 12,000 on the button. The jam for more than 77,000 followed and "milennial" used his time bank before calling it off with {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. He was trailing against {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} and both players flopped a straight draw only for "milennial" to get there right away.

Argentinia's "largomen1" raised to 4,280, faced a three-bet by "Uivelo88" on the button for 99,000 and the four-bet to 28,000 by "kofi89" in the big blind. As biggest stack of the trio, "largomen1" near-instantly shipped it in with the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and "kofi89" called with {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

There was a king on the board but "kofi89" was drawing dead on the turn already as the board came {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs},
