"Hide it in a drawer, chuck it in the freezer, post it to your nan - whatever it takes.

"Every year I swear I won’t tweet through the tilt, and every year I end up in a 3 am thread about ace-queen offsuit and moral decay. Your phone is a landmine of late-reg madness and kebab orders you’ll regret.

"If you want to survive SCOOP, disconnect now and thank yourself later."

Gavin Cochrane On Course For Another Huge Score

Gavin Cochrane
Gavin Cochrane

British grinder Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane helped himself to an $87,884 score during the SCOOP Warm Up, and he is now on course for a similar haul in the SCOOP proper.

Cochrane leads the final nine of SCOOP 09-H: $5,200 NLHE PKO Bounty Builder SHR, which resumes at 5:30 p.m. BST on May 13. The leader returns to the battlefield armed with 2,404,765 chips, almost 800,000 more than online poker veteran "hello_totti" (1,628,205) in second place.

Each of the nine finalists is guaranteed to take home at least $6,331 from the regular prize pool but as much as $46,608 if they come out on top. Add progressive bounties to that top prize, and the champion should see a colossal prize come their way.

"Shadissimo defeated Ukraine's "Prosperous4 heads-up, turning a set, which held against the Ukrainian's open-ended straight draw.
