Thursday’s action saw several PokerStars ambassadors come painfully close to tasting SCOOP glory.

Fintan “easywithaces” Hand was chasing his fourth SCOOP title and made a deep run in SCOOP 103-H: $1,050 PKO, finishing 4th for $8,509 plus $4,500 in bounties. The title went to “whaleptt” of Belarus, who defeated Ole “wizowizo” Schemion heads-up for $16,352 and $30,578 in bounties.

Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber also came up just short of another win, placing 4th in SCOOP 111-M: $109 Mystery Bounty Cooldown for $4,420 and $6,609 in bounties, a performance that helped his team leap into second on the SCOOP League leaderboard.

Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg continues to hunt for his first SCOOP title. He finished 11th in the $530 Mystery Cooldown for $1,521, including one of the five $7,500 mystery bounties, and added a 14th-place finish in the $530 Deep Stacks event for $2,239.

Team peace&loove Soars Into SCOOP League Lead

SCOOP League Standings
SCOOP League Standings

Sebastian Huber's Team peace&loove are the new SCOOP League leaders after leap-frogging Kelvin Kerber's Team Kelvin_FP: AR as the 2025 SCOOP's conclusion rapidly nears. Huber's band of merry men now have 7,060 points, 365 more than Kerber's crew, with only two days of the series remaining.

At one stage, it looked as if Benjamin Spragg's Team Spraggy would run away with proceedings, but that's no longer the case. Spragg's team is 145 points behind Kerber's, and looks destined for a third-place finish unless they pull something out of the bag on June 1 and June 2.

Only 15 points separate Team easywithace from Team tonkaaaa, so you can bet your bottom dollar Fintan Hand and Parker Talbot will be pulling out all of the stops to prevent their respective teams from finishing rock bottom!

An Action-Packed Penultimate Day is on the Cards

2025 SCOOP
2025 SCOOP

Time is running out for any of the SCOOP League captains to rally their troops and get them to put some last-minute points on the board. June 1 is a Sunday, and that means the SCOOP fields will be at their largest, as will the potential prizes.

All eyes will be on the low, medium and high editions of Event #121, the Main Event 2nd Chances. These events have combined guarantees worth $1.25 million, but it will be the SCOOP League points, not prizes, that motivate the captains and their squads.

Expand the table below to see what events you can get your teeth into on June 1, the penultimate day of the 2025 SCOOP.

Mattsson Misses Out on SIXTH SCOOP Title of the Year

Simon Mattsson
Simon Mattsson

He's already bagged five SCOOP titles this year, and moved atop the all-time leaderboard for SCOOP titles, but a sixth was a step too far for Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson.

He finished as runner-up in SCOOP 124-H: $1,050 NLHE Sunday Cooldown SE for $26,036, with Roman "MinReraise" Matveychuk winning his first SCOOP title and $45,231.

Third-place finisher "Ebaaa11" failed to add to their maiden SCOOP title from 2023, while Armin "armin1912" Rezaei couldn't make it two titles in a night after his win in SCOOP 115-H $1,050 NLHE.

2,728% ROI for "Kadiro10" and First SCOOP Title

SCOOP
SCOOP

There have been plenty of SCOOP satellites on PokerStars, and plenty of people have scored seats to massive events through them.

Yesterday saw Germany's "Kadiro10" win their first SCOOP title for $9,006, but that only tells half the story.

They won their way into SCOOP 123-L: $22 NLHE for just $3.30 and turned that into an almost five-figure score. That equates to a 2,628% return on investment (ROI).

With one day left of SCOOP action, could there be any more HUGE satellite winners?
