"BenGlaz98" Takes Down the First SCOOP Sunday Million

SCOOP
SCOOP

SCOOP 04-M: $215 NLHE [Progressive KO, Sunday Million] was one of the headline events on the early schedule, but despite 4,780 entries, it fell short of the $1 million guarantee and ran with an overlay.

The prize pool was still set at the full $1,000,000 guarantee, split between a $522,000 regular prize pool and a $478,000 bounty pool.

When the two-day event wrapped up, it was "BenGlaz98" who captured the title for a total of $100,668. The champion earned $63,659 from the regular prize pool and added $37,009 in progressive bounties after closing out the final table.

Brazil’s "T01010011" finished runner-up, while Kelvin “CadeMito” Farias rounded out the podium in third. Rafael “peitorama” Alvarenga was also among the final six, with the Brazilian grinder collecting more than $19,000 in combined payouts.

There was also some EPT royalty in the field as Razvan "razvyqq" Belea finished in seventh place. The Romanian grinder won the 2023 EPT Paris Main Event, which was the sixth largest Main Event in EPT history.

Even with the overlay, the Sunday Million PKO still delivered a six-figure score.

Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Monday was another strong one for Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser, who locked up his 12th SCOOP title and remains in the mix for a 13th.

Glaser took down SCOOP 12-H: $320 NLHE [Turbo, Fenomeno HR], a 285-entry field that pushed the prize pool to $87,695. Neymar Stacks Two High Final Tables, Sits 2nd in $5.2K SCOOP SHR

Neymar
Neymar

It was another high-volume, high-profile Monday on SCOOP for PokerStars Ambassador Neymar, who stacked two High-tier final tables and now heads into Tuesday with a real shot at a Super High Roller title.

His day began as the Day 2 chip leader in SCOOP 02-H: $530 NLHE [SCOOP Kickoff], where 240 entries built a $120,000 prize pool. Neymar navigated a final table that included Pavel “silentm0de” Plesuv, Adrian “Amadi_017” Mateos and 14-time SCOOP champion Simon “C. Darwin2” Mattsson before bowing out in seventh for $4,538.36. The title went to "aminolast", but it was an early sign that Neymar was settling into the series quickly.

This time the final table featured Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, Niklas "Lena900" Astedt and Mattsson again. Neymar’s run ended in ninth for $2,194, while "HardiZ1" closed it out for $30,167, with Leonard finishing in second place.

SCOOP 2026 Day 2: Glaser Wins 12th Title as Neymar Continues Search for SCOOP Glory

Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

The second day of the 2026 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) on PokerStars saw another wave of champions crowned across No-Limit Hold’em, PLO, Turbo and mixed-game formats, with several prize pools climbing beyond guarantees and plenty of familiar names back in the spotlight.

The headline belonged to Benny "RunGodlike " Glaser, who claimed his 12th SCOOP title by winning the $320 Turbo Fenomeno High for $16,626. The victory moves him to 28 COOP titles overall across SCOOP and WCOOP. He isn’t done yet either, returning as one of the finalists in the $1,050 HORSE 6-Max.

High-tier events produced more repeat winners. "aminolast" captured the $530 SCOOP Kickoff for $23,075, good for a fourth career SCOOP title, while "HardiZ1" took down the $1,050 Mystery Warm-Up High for $30,167 and a second SCOOP win. In the $215 Sunday Million Progressive KO, "BenGlaz98" topped a 4,780-entry field to earn $100,668.

There were milestone moments elsewhere. "ShipitFTW911" secured a fourth SCOOP title in the $109 PLO, and "king153246" collected a third in the $1,050 7-Max. At the same time, new champions broke through, with "SpadeK666" and "edyvpakistan" earning their first SCOOP titles in the Low and Medium Mystery Warm-Ups.

Off the winner’s podium but still one of the day’s biggest stories was Neymar. The Brazilian star reached final tables in both the $530 Kickoff and the $1,050 Mystery Warm-Up High but fell short of a maiden SCOOP title. He remains firmly in the hunt in the $5,200 Progressive KO Super High Roller, where he returns second in chips with six players remaining.

SCOOP Legends Out in Force in Event 03-H

Simon Mattsson
Simon Mattsson

Looking at the final nine, it's easy to see why Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg told PokerNews how special SCOOP really is. The final table features 52 SCOOP titles, with 45 of those split between four players.

Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson sits second in chips behind Germany's "HardiZ1", with the likes of Niklas "Lena900" Astedt (11 titles), Patrick "pads1161" Leonard (10 titles) and "FAL1st" (10 titles) breathing down his neck.

There's also a spot at the final table for Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski, whose sole SCOOP title came back in 2021.

Bringing up the rear is PokerStars Ambassador Neymar Jr and "1EP3", who are the only players at the final table yet to claim SCOOP titles. However, "1EP3" will return tonight with the largest bounty prize on their head — a whopping $22,292 in total.

Neymar Leads $530 SCOOP Kickoff

Neymar
Neymar

Neymar is a regular on PokerStars during major online poker festivals such as SCOOP. In September 2025, he finished seventh in the WCOOP $10,300 Super Tuesday and was back in action on the opening night of SCOOP 2026.

From a field of 240 in the SCOOP 02-H: $530 SCOOP Kickoff, just 16 players remain. Neymar sits in first place, ahead of five-time SCOOP winner Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak and two-time winner Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv.

Also still in contention are all-time SCOOP title leader Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson (14 titles), who sits 14th of 16 left, and Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos, who is outside of the top ten in 11th.

The remaining players have all locked up $1,361 with $23,075 awaiting the winner.
