Day 1c Completed

Darrin Bracken Leads Flight C

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Darrin Bracken
Darrin Bracken

Event #2 of the 2014 Seneca Fall Poker Classic continued Monday morning with 80 entrants participating in Flight C. After 12 levels, Darrin Bracken led the 15 players who advanced to Wednesday's Day 2.

Bracken took the lead in Level 11 in a hand against Art Demmerley and never looked back. Demmerley moved all in for 23,900 on a {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop and Bracken called. Demmerley had a straight flush draw with the {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} against Bracken's {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, and the pair held up for Bracken to move him close to 100,000. He busted a short stack on the next hand to climb into the chip lead.

Also advancing to Day 2 with healthy stacks are Mirko Medic, Darren D'Agostino, Ron D'Grillo, Mike Ralyea and Steve Rokitta.

Flight D is already underway here in the Seneca Poker Room. Be sure to stay tuned to our continuous coverage of Event #2 throughout the week!

With the board showing {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Rob Stinson bet 11,000 and Darren Bracken raised to 25,000. Stinson went into the tank before letting his hand go, and Bracken added another nice pot to his stack.
