Five flights down, one to go. Event #2 of the 2014 Seneca Fall Poker Classic continued Tuesday morning with Flight E of the $125 buy-in, $50,000 guaranteed event. A total of 125 entries filled the tables before registration closed, bringing the overall number to 445 entries through five flights. The guarantee will almost certainly be met during the final flight this evening.

Steven Solodiuk bagged the biggest stack in Flight E. Solodiuk picked up momentum when he busted former Fall Poker Classic champ Rick Block with ace-king against pocket eights. That pot pushed him above 100,000 in chips, and he continued building through the evening.

Also advancing with healthy stacks are Jack Vaccarello, Siewlee Keelaphan, Tyler Hutchinson and Tony Graziano.

Flight F is already underway here in the Seneca Poker Room. Be sure to stay tuned to our continuous coverage of Event #2 throughout the week!

In the meantime, players are getting ready for Flight F in what should be the biggest flight of the tournament.

Block Chopped Down

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Rick Block moved all in for 22,200 from early position. The player in the small blind asked for a count before announcing a call, and it was off to the races.

Block: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

"Wait," Block told the dealer before the board was revealed. "I can't race with my shoe untied."

Block laced up his right shoe, and the dealer fanned the {3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop. All looked good for Block, but the {A-Hearts} turn left him drawing to one out. His tournament ended when the {10-Hearts} completed the board.

"Overkill" for Nablo

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

We just witnessed Jason Nablo flipping with pocket tens against an opponent's ace-king, and Nablo drilled a set on the flop, followed by quads on the river, to boost him above 100,000 in chips.

"Well that's overkill," his opponent said as he exited the tournament.
