The fifth Day 1 starting flight of the 2015 Western New York Poker Challenge Event 5: $50 No-Limit Hold'em is through.

This flight drew a total of 130 players and just 16 survived a quickly paced day that ended before the 14th level was done.

They will join the 67 survivors from the first four Day 1 flights in coming back to play down to a winner Thursday at 12 p.m. local time.

Plus, there is one more Day 1 flight set to go off this evening.

Kali Zurek grabbed the chip lead in the second to last level of the day in a huge aces over kings cooler worth some 160,000 all in preflop.

She will bring in 190,700 chips with her to Day 2 tomorrow, representing the second biggest stack to Day 1d leader Shayne Shackelford's 520,000 built so far.

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be back for Day 1f at 7 p.m. local time to keep you up to date on all the action from beginning to end.
