The fifth Day 1 starting flight of the 2015 Western New York Poker Challenge Event 5: $50 No-Limit Hold'em is through.
This flight drew a total of 130 players and just 16 survived a quickly paced day that ended before the 14th level was done.
They will join the 67 survivors from the first four Day 1 flights in coming back to play down to a winner Thursday at 12 p.m. local time.
Plus, there is one more Day 1 flight set to go off this evening.
Kali Zurek grabbed the chip lead in the second to last level of the day in a huge aces over kings cooler worth some 160,000 all in preflop.
She will bring in 190,700 chips with her to Day 2 tomorrow, representing the second biggest stack to Day 1d leader Shayne Shackelford's 520,000 built so far.

Christy Willams got short and just busted out leaving only 18 players.
Kali Zurek just used pocket eights to bust two players, including a short stacked Peter Raimondi.
As a result, just 20 players are left.
