On the tail end of the K♠9♠5♠J♣2♦ board, Maxwell Rosete bet 29,000. Only Billy Alfonso was still to act one seat over and he reluctantly called. Rosete rolled over his Q♦10♦ for the king-high straight and it was good enough to win the pot.
Hernan Villa was spotted on his way out of the tournament area after his A♠4♠ were unable to hold up against the big blind of Minjung Kim. The runner-up of the Bounty Side Event flopped an open-ended straight draw with J♥9♥ and got there to send Villa packing.
Soon after his previous double-up, Ivan Dela Cruz three-bet jammed and Po Hao Liao called all-in for 23,700 behind that. Initial raiser John Tech asked for a count and folded.

Maxwell Rosete checked the 9♠7♥5♦2♠ turn and then called a bet of 12,000 by Diana Tan before he opted to lead the 8♦ river for 30,000. Tan used one time bank extension and called for the big stack to reveal Q♣10♦. Tan had that beat with the Q♠Q♥ to chip up, now also facing another two of the large stacks in Terry Gonzaga and Jonard Arcilla.
The Day 1d field has dropped to around 70 players remaining and among the casualties were also David Erquiaga and Darren Yu.
With the turn showing Q♠5♥3♦8♠, Kim Enriquez bet 5,000 and he was flat-called by Renato Villanueva in the next seat. Enriquez then bet the [¢4d] river for 25,000 with another 40,000 behind.
Viilanueva used one time bank while eyeballing the stack of his table neighbour and then moved all-in. Enriquez immediately sighed and needed two time banks himself before he paid it off.
Villanueva rolled over the Q♣Q♦ for flopped top set and Enriquez's 8♥8♦ for an inferior set on the turn was no good.
Stefan Van Huyssteen had seen his stack cut down significantly before he then clashed with Maxwell Rosete. His 10♦10♣ was dominated by K♠K♥ and the K♣Q♦3♥2♥2♣ runout left the player from South Africa drawing dead on turn.

Level 12 has commenced in the turbo heat 1e which has seen an increase to 39 total entries with 28 players remaining. That has brought the overall field to 362 entries and the PHP 15 million guarantee was not reached, thus giving all those still in the mix a small overlay and additional value.
It will be a couple of hours to go until the action concludes for tonight as Day 1d is scheduled to play down to the last 28 contenders with currently 80 players still in the mix.
Former big stack Jr-Hao Jan was spotted talking on the rail for a few minutes and that had not been much reason to worry, as he had taken many short breaks throughout the day. However, a quick look in the player history indeed revealed that he was eliminated a few minutes ago. On his former table, Jansen Tiu was sitting on a monster stack all of a sudden to top the leaderboard.
Another big name departed from nearby as Richard Marquez was ousted in the following preflop contest.
