Upon completion of level two, the field has climbed to 45 entries of which 42 players remain and they are all on a scheduled 15-minute break.
Soon after the previous three-way pot, the chips went in preflop this time with Warren Abrahams and Beat Schlegel at risk of elimination. Abrahams called for his one time with the 5♣5♥ and was up against Schlegel's K♠10♠ as well as A♥K♥.
The Q♠7♦5♦10♣2♣ board provided the set for Abrahams and he tripled for 45,500 while Schlegel won the side pot for the 20,800 he had behind.
When sitting down earlier, Abrahams had jokingly declared he would hate to be blinded out and rather "die on his own terms".

Multi ways to the 6♠5♥2♥ flop, Reza De Bruyns check-raised to 15,000 in the small blind and was called by two opponents including Beat Schlegel. The 8♦ turn saw De Bruyns push all-in for the last 3,400 and both opponents called.
The two active players checked the Q♠ river on which Schlegel exposed his 5Qh7h] first. The third player in the hand mucked and De Bruyns then tabled the 6♣2♣ for sixes and deuces for the full triple up.

Franco Da Matta had cracked the pocket kings of Sunelle Kirstein and Tanith Rothman let go of pocket aces in a big pot that left Kirstein very short. Soon after, Da Matta was gone from the table and Rothman was among four players to invest 1,000 prior to the K♦7♥6♣ flop.
Kirstein jammed the last 3,200 in the small blind and Rothman was the only caller as last player to act.
"Did you hit your king? I will need help," Rothman said when she made the call and tabled her 8♣5♣ for the open-ender. Kirstein was ahead with K♥4♥ and the A♦J♣ turnout on turn and river changed nothing.

Reza De Bruyns ended up all-in and at risk preflop with A♥Q♣ versus A♠8♠ and had a sweat on the 6♠5♣4♥ flop. The Q♦ turn took away some outs for his opponents and the J♠ river was a blank.

On the J♥7♥5♦8♠ turn, there was a bet worth by Ronnie Welgemoed 2,500 and Sunelle Kirstein was the only caller on the button. They both checked the 3♣ on the river and her Welgemoed tabled his 6♦6♣, which Kirstein had beat holding the 8♥4♥ for a pair of eights.

While the action remains on four tables for the time being, the entry slips show a total of 38 entries for the penultimate starting flight and the same lone casualty thus far. Wesley Blom had been missing the last few days due to work but returned back in time for the Main Event action.
