Aces Hold On for Clancy
Level 5
: 300/500, 500 ante
The flop read 9♠5♣4♣ with about 5,000 in the middle as Alex Clancy bet 3,100 from middle position, only to face a raise to 7,000 from Jacob Prue on the button. Clancy then jammed as the covering stack, and Prue called off his remaining 24,200 stack.
Jacob Prue: J♣10♣
Alex Clancy: A♥A♦
Clancy held the aces against the flush draw of Prue who decided to go with his draw. However, the board ran out 6♠K♥, leaving the aces best for Clancy to drag a substantial pot.
