Action from the New Table

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Enough players have joined the fray to open a new table. A few familiar faces were seated there, as well as some new ones. In the most significant pot observed, there was a board of 56A10 on the table.

Katja Maria Schneider bet 2,000 from under the gun and both other players that were in the hand, "RME" from under the gun and Alexander Steiger in the next seat over, made the call.

The river then fell 6 and Schneider checked to "RME". They consequently made a bet of 2,000, which only Steiger called. "RME" showed AJ for top pair and it was enough to take down the pot.

Steiger Rises in the Counts

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

"RME" opened the action for 1,200 from the hijack and received a call from Alexander Steiger from the cutoff. Kathrin Wolfinger defended her big blind, and they were off to the flop.

6J6 was dealt and Wolfinger checked to "RME", who proceeded with a bet of 1,300. Steiger called and Wolfinger let her hand go before the 3 turn was graciously flipped over by the dealer.

"RME" bet another 2,000 in the pot and, yet again, Steiger made the call. The K river completed the board and "RME" slowed down with a quick check. Steiger took the opportunity to bet 5,000, which made "RME" lay their hand down.

Six-Way Pot Shipped to Muric

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Gyoergy Olah raised to 1,200 form under the gun and received calls from all around the table. "Leon 17" was in, as were Ernat Muric, Beat Mathys, and Andri Hotz. Katja Maria Schneider eventually defended her big blind and the six players saw a flop of 5K5. Six times the action went check before an A turn was dealt.

The action checked to Muric in middle position and he was the first to put in a bet postflop, for a total of 2,100. Gyoergy Olah made the call, but "Leon 17" put in a surprising check-raise to 15,000.

Upon receiving the news that a raise had been made, Muric shoved his gigantic stack in the middle for an all-in three-bet.

"All-in?", Olah required and he made the fold after he received a confirmation from the dealer. "Leon 17" followed suit and Muric's chip stack now towers over 100,000. Meanwhile, Olah also plays a healthy stack of nearly double starting.

Three-Way All-In Sees Muric Triple, Ditaranto Bust

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Ernat Muric
Ernat Muric

When PokerNews arrived at the scene, all cards were already dealt and Giuseppe Ditaranto's seat was empty. A preflop three-way all-in situation had apparently occurred between him, Ernat Muric, and Mathys Beat.

The KK of Ditaranto still lay in front of his chair, while Muric had JJ open and Mathys played AQ.

The board read 2210AJ and the dealer counted Muric's stack as 29,200, which covered Ditaranto. Mathys meanwhile, saw his stack halved by the rivered set.

Ditaranto's kings could not hold in this three-way clash and he was the first to be eliminated from Day 1c.

Ditaranto Shortest in the Room

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Andri Hotz, Jakob Leitgeb, and Giuseppe Ditaranto were involved in a pot of 7,200 that they had amassed preflop. The flop came down 4102 and Hotz was the first to fire in the pot, from the big blind. The bet was 2,000 and Leitgeb folded from under the gun. Ditaranto was in the cutoff and made the call, however.

The dealer put the 2 turn on the table and Hotz continued for another 6,000. This time, Ditaranto made the fold. He is playing the least chips of anyone in the room and is hoping to spin it up in the bigger levels that are yet to come.

Olah Puts On the Squeeze

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

As the blinds levels rise and more chips go in preflop, more aggressive action is being taken as well.

The latest example saw Gyoergy Olah three-bet to a sizable 4,100 from the small blind after a 700 open from Jakob Leitgeb in the cutoff and a flat from button Katja Maria Schneider.

They both folded and Olah added some more uncontested chips to his stack.
