Three ways to the 8♠4♥4♦ flop, the action checked to Jaco Mouton and he bet 3,200. Only Simon Solomon called while Gareth Duncan folded. They checked down the 6♣ turn and Mouton checked behind the J♥ river with the words "I don't think I can get you to fold sevens," showing his A♥K♠.
Solomon had a pocket pair in 9♣9♠ and raked in the pot. One table over, early chip leader Tanith Rothman lost a big pot to Stephen Kurland and dropped below the starting stack again.
Cliton Taliwanth check-called a bet worth 1,500 by Stephen Kurland on the Q♦10♦9♠ flop before they checked down the 3♣ turn and A♠ river. Kurland tabled his K♦5♦ for a missed straight and flush draw. Taliwanth glanced at his cards and then rolled over the K♣5♦, which chopped the pot as neither kicker played.
Only a handful of players have been eliminated so far and among them is also JP Le Roux. He was left short and then missed the queen-high board with the J♠9♠ as Clive Kikia scooped up the remainder of his stack with the K♦Q♥, having paired the queen on the river.
New on the same table are Alexandre Blanc and Gareth Duncan.
Nearly half-way through the Sunbet Poker Tour stop at the GrandWest Casino by Sun International in Cape Town, the High Rollers have showcased their talents at the tables in the most expensive tournament on the schedule. The ZAR 75,000 (~ USD 4,200) Super High Roller attracted a field of 54 entries during the registration period and two tournament days have cut down the field to 18 survivors.
The action will resume at 2 p.m. local time with level 14 and blinds of 20,000-40,000 / big blind ante of 20,000. With more than 70 big blinds for the chip leaders, it may be a long day at the tables to determine a winner. Leading the way thus far is Ricky Toker with 2,875,000 in chips followed closely by Rudolf Fourie (2,805,000) and Ben Cade (2,680,000).

The final day will run alongside the penultimate flight of The Hendon Mob Championship Cape Town Million and many of those bowing out may very well jump into the action for a fraction of their previous buy-in thereafter.
As of level three, the live stream action will be available on a delay of 30 minutes as well on the SunBet Poker Tour YouTube channel with cards-up coverage and commentary. For the time being, the plan is the stream until the end of the night with Day 1c scheduled to play down to the money.

"Sorry Chuck, unlucky runout," Wesley Blom said and Charles "Chuck" Levin replied "that seven killed me.
On a board of J♥9♦8♦6♥7♣, Levin had flopped top set with the J♣J♣ but the 10♥10♠ of Blom rivered the straight for the full double with 17,400 of it coming on the river.
