Over on the live stream table, a short-stacked Andrew Holland was all-in preflop with A♥Q♠ against the A♠A♣ of Michael Cupido. The 9♠2♣2♦J♦K♣ board changed nothing whatsoever and Cupido claimed the knockout without any sweat.
Clive Kikia checked the 8♣6♣5♣7♠ turn and then called a bet of 2,000 by Jonathan Hoal to check the 2♣ on the river. Hoal now made it 6,000 to go and Kikia asked more to himself "did you hit the flush?" He grabbed two chips for the call and kissed them goodbye, literally.
Hoal declared "the highest" and rolled over the A♣ first followed by the J♠. Kikia flashed his cards to Hoal before tossing them into the muck.
In four-way action to the J♦10♣3♦2♦ turn, the action checked to Barend Jacobs and he bet 3,000. Two of his opponents folded and Kinesh Pather gave him a stare down before he also surrendered eventually. Jacobs showed one of his cards only and revealed the A♦ before collecting the pot.
After the field came back from the break, the tournament info showed 53 players out of 61 entries remaining and that figure is expected to climb to around three figures with late registration and re-entries available. New in the mix are Eben Lottering, Stephen Courtney and Sugen Singh.

The first four levels on Day 1c have been completed and the field of nearly 60 entries has been sent on the first scheduled 10-minute break. In the meanwhile, the 18 hopefuls in the Super High Roller have returned to their seats to play towards the money bubble and then determine a champion.
Alexandra Müller raised to 1,000 and received three callers in Adrian Andritz, Tanith Rothman and Cliton Taliwanth. On the A♦J♥10♣ flop, the action checked to Andritz and he bet 1,500. Rothman and Taliwanth called while Müller folded.
The A♣ turn was checked to Andritz once more and he bet 2,800, which only Rothman called. Following the 3♥ river, Rothman checked again and Andritz fired a third barrel for 6,300. Rothman reluctantly called and her A♥2♥ chopped with the A♠5♦ of Andritz.
So far, a field of 59 entries has emerged and 51 players currently remain in the later stages of level four. Among the seven players on the live stream table is also The Hendon Mob qualifier Vegard Granli who sits on an above-average stack with the fancy blue THM hoodie.
On the outer tables, Cliton Taliwanth has joined the action again and chipped up slightly with a bet of 2,000 on a multi-way turn of K♣5♣4♥4♦ that received no callers.
Three ways to the Q♥4♣3♣2♦ turn, the action was checked by Mariska Du Toit and Harold Brooks. Keegan Naidoo bet 1,300 and was called both times for Naidoo to exclaim "then I am in trouble ... no clubs, please," he told the dealer. The river was the 3♠ and they checked all around.
Du Toit tabled her A♣2♣ for a missed straight flush draw to which Brooks mucked. Naidoo had that beat with the Q♣10♦ to win the pot.
