Park's Snowmen Avoid Melting

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The flop read {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}. From under the gun, Peter Park bet 3,500. Adrian Garduno check-raised to 14,500 from the small blind. Park thought for quite a while before three-bet shoving which Garduno snap-called.

Park was at risk with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} while Garduno had the draw with the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}. The turn was the {k-Clubs} and the river the {4-Clubs} to both come up black but the wrong suit for Garduno as he whiffed and Park's eights held to give him a double.

Shlomi Shriki

Nicholas Cornwell jammed preflop from the small blind over a raise from Shlomi Shriki who thought a few moments before he called.

Cornwell had the {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} while Shriki had the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts} to give Shriki trips. The turn gave Cornwell trips as the {5-Hearts} came but gave Shriki the full house. The river was the {10-Spades}

Meyer Adds More

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was joined on the river as the board read {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Big stack Matthew Meyer bet 8,000 over to his opponent who called after a second.

Meyer tabled the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} which was good as his opponent mucked and Meyer added a few more chips to his growing stack.
