Day 1a of Event #6: 1M GTD Mystery Bounty is in the books after over ten hours of play. This first of eight flights attracted 53 entries, which played down to just seven players (12%) at the end of the day.
Bagging the chip lead amongst the surviving seven was Matthew Meyer who finished the day with 581,500. He was spotted as a chip leader within the first few levels as he had the highest count on the first chip count collection of the day. He carried that lead throughout and ended the day with another boon when he busted Jeremy Bocka as the bubble boy.

Second in chips at the day’s conclusion was Justin Jones with 476,500 who really started to accumulate chips close to the end of the night when the players joined together at one table.
Adrian Garduno finished the night in third place with 470,000 after getting a bunch after a wild three-way all in when he went runner runner full house to crack a flush and a nut flush draw.
Kevin Garosshen hung on and found a bag and a cash after he was the short stack on the bubble and ended with 80,500.
The seven players will move on to Day 2 which is not until Sunday. There are still seven more flights to go to determine who will join these seven In advancing.
