Jones Jumps to the Top

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

The preflop action was unknown but there were roughly 15,500 chips in the pot when the dealer spread {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} on the felt. Both Jack Barnett and Uriah Jones tapped to the {q-Diamonds} turn card.

Barnett bet 9,000 and Jones quickly moved all in, totaling 38,600. Barnett called and tabled his {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for an overpair of aces. Jones turned over {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, giving him two pair and the lead.

The board was completed with a {10-Spades} and Jones held on to pull in the pot, doubling through Barnett.

Munoz Snaps, Kellard Jumps Back In

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

The flop read {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} and there was around 6,500 in the pot when Vladimir Munoz checked to George Kellard who bet 3,000. Munoz called and the dealer flipped over the {q-Spades} turn.

Munoz tapped once more to Kellard who shoved for 16,500. Munoz snapped and Kellard slowly turned over {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for king-high. Munoz then showed {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for three ladies.

Kellard was then drawing dead to the {8-Hearts} river, shipping his stack to Munoz. Kellard rebought and has taken his fresh 40,000 stack to table 34.

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Eduardo Salinas ripped in his last 5,100 from middle position after an under the gun limp by George Kellard, and Venkat Chivukula called in the big blind. Kellard folded, leaving just two for a runout.

Eduardo Salinas: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Venkat Chivukula: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The board came down {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Salinas pulled in the pot for a double through Chivukula.

Two Pots Slide to Wells

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Michael Tillman called a raise of 2,000 from middle position and Cody Wells three-bet to 7,500 in the cutoff. Tillman called after the initial raiser folded and the dealer spread {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} on the flop.

Wells continued for 8,000 after action checked to him and Tillman then quickly threw his hand into the muck.

On the second hand, Qing Lu opened to 1,500 from under the gun, Wells called in middle position and Tillman defended his big bind. The {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop fell and Lu bet 1,800 after a check by Tillman.

Wells called, Tillman folded, and the wet-looking {7-Spades} came down. Lu tapped to Wells, he bet 3,500 and she check-called. The board completed with a {k-Diamonds} and Lu checked once more.

Wells bet 7,000 and Lu instantly called. He tabled {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for three cowboys and Lu mucked her hand. "Very big pair," she said as the cards hit the muck.
