Ivan Zhang raised to 4,000 in the hijack and Dong Chen called from the big blind. The flop came J84 and Chen started with a check. Zhang made a small bet of 2,500 and Chen check-raised to 7,000. Zhang instantly announced all in and Chen was forced to fold.

On the next hand, Dominik Nitsche opened to 4,000 from the hijack and Quan Zhou defended his big blind. The flop fell AQJ and Zhou check-called a bet of 5,000 from Nitsche.

The turn was the 9 and Zhou checked again. Nitsche tossed in a bet of 15,000 and Zhou quickly folded his A face up.

Nobody Falls Into Nitsche's Trap

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche opened to 4,000 from under the gun and picked up calls from Dong Chen in the cutoff and Quan Zhou on the button.

The flop came 1095 and the action checked around to the J on the turn. Three more checks and the 6 completed the board. Nitsche started with another check and both of his opponents tapped the table as well.

Nitsche turned over KQ for the nut straight and was awarded the pot.

"You learn from me? Check, check, check," Ivan Zhang laughed.

Barer Joins Zhou's List

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Dong Chen opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Quan Zhou three-bet to 16,000 on his left. Ami Barer tried taking a stand with a four-bet to 45,000 on the button. Chen got out of the way but Zhou responded with a five-bet shove as the big stack.

Barer threw his stack of time banks into the middle as seconds, and then minutes, passed by. After using at least four time banks, Barer finally dispatched his cards to the muck.

"Fold ace-king?" Ivan Zhang asked.

Barer responded by nodding his head in agreement.

More Chips for Zhou

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Gary Thompson raised it up from the cutoff and Quan Zhou three-bet to 18,000 from the small blind. Thompson called and they went heads-up to a flop of 553.

Zhou led out with a bet of 16,000 and Thompson called to see the 8 on the turn. Zhou counted out another bet of 37,000 and Thompson stuck around for the J on the river.

Zhou splashed in a bet of 100,000, more than enough to cover the remaining 90,000 chips in front of Thompson, who reluctantly slung his cards into the muck.

Thompson Can't Buy a Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

After just losing a small pot to Quan Zhou moments earlier, Gary Thompson was back on the saddle with a raise to 3,500 in the cutoff. Ivan Zhang defended from the big blind and the flop of K42 hit the felt.

Zhang check-called a bet of 3,000 from Thompson and the 3 landed on the turn. Zhang checked again and Thompson announced a bet of 12,000. Zhang check-raised to 35,000 and Thompson instantly folded, shaking his head.

"Don't bluff me!" Zhang shouted.

"I wasn't bluffing," Thompson acknowledged.

"Sounds like a bluff to me," Ami Barer chimed in.
