Huawei Lin raised to 500,000 in the hijack holding A♥Q♦ and Martin Nielsen defended his big blind with Q♥3♥.
Nielsen check-called a 350,000 bet from Lin on the K♠9♥3♣ flop then both players checked down on the 7♣ turn.
The 4♥ filled the river and Nielsen wagered 300,000 with his pair of treys.
Patrik Demus opened to 500,000 with A♥10♣ under the gun and Stephen Song just called in the cutoff with 6♠6♦. They went heads-up to an action flop of A♠10♦6♣ which gave Demus two pair and Song a set of sixes.
Demus led out with a bet of 400,000 and Song just called to see the 2♦ on the turn. Demus fired out another bet of 1,300,000 and Song just called again.
The river brought the K♠ and Demus reached back for a bet of 1,575,000. Song deliberated for a minute and then raised to 4,800,000. Demus wasn't happy with it but didn't take long to send his two pair into the muck.
James Mendoza opened to 500,000 from under the gun with 10♣10♦ and Martin Nielsen three-bet to 1,200,000 in the cutoff with A♦5♦. Stephen Song woke up in the small blind with K♠K♥ and counted out a four-bet to 1,800,000.
Mendoza quickly dumped his pocket tens in the muck while Nielsen had some dangerous thoughts, using a couple of time banks before finally releasing his weak ace.
Action folded around to the blinds, where Martin Nielsen called from the small blind with 4♥3♠ and Marius Gierse checked his option in the big holding Q♠9♦.
Both players checked on the A♥A♣8♣ flop and then Gierse called a 250,000 bet from Nielsen on the 4♣ turn.
The J♠ completed the board and Nielsen checked, prompting a 800,000 bet from Gierse.
Nielsen burned up a time extension contemplating his decision, but eventually decided to lay the best hand down and Gierse collected the pot.
Stephen Song raised to 550,000 in early position with J♦9♦ and Patrik Demus called in the small blind with K♦Q♦. The flop came K♥Q♥10♥ and both players checked after flopping big hands.
The turn was the 9♣ which four cards to a straight on the board. Demus proceeded with caution and Song finally made a bet of 800,000 with his straight. Demus sensed his two pair was no good and he correctly laid his hand down without committing any more chips to the pot.
Jiaming Zhao shoved for 2,700,000 from the hijack and James Mendoza also went all in from the small blind. Everyone else folded and the board was run.

Zhao found himself dominated and remained behind on the 4♥9♥4♠ flop.
The 2♥ turn gave him additional outs to a flush, but the 8♣ river bricked out and the once chip leader was forced to settle for an eighth place finish.
Mendoza, on the other hand, has made an epic comeback after being on the brink of elimination and currently sits with 7,800,000.
Ivan Zhang opened to 500,000 in early position with A♦J♣ and Patrik Demus made it 1,300,000 on his left. Haitao Lei was in the big blind and ripped all in for 3,000,000. Zhang quickly folded and Demus called just as fast.

The flop came J♥8♦6♥ and Demus was still way out front with one of Lei's outs already in the muck. The 8♠ on the turn and the 4♦ on the river were also no help to Lei who became the first player eliminated at the final table.
Haitao Lei shoved for his last 1,400,000 first to act and was called by Stephen Song on the button to put Lei at risk.
