At 1 p.m. local time, some of Asia's biggest names and several well-known international poker pros will return to their seats in the poker room of the lavish Landing Casino here at the Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel to battle for their share of at least US$3 million in guaranteed prize money. That's up for grabs in the inaugural 2025 The Lord Poker Tournament (TLPT) Jeju US$15,000 Main Event as part of the TLPT Super High Roller Series.
It is the first time TLPT is hosting their own standalone series and a big portion of the overall US$8 million guarantee throughout the festival is reserved for the flagship Main Event. There is still some way to go to reach the ambitious amount, though, as Day 1 saw 122 entries recorded thus far of which 58 players bagged up chips last night. However, the late registration and re-entry period is open for another four levels today and one can expect a frantic opening stage in which the chips will change hands at a very rapid pace.
After a late surge during the final hands last night, Haohui Ma leaped into the top spot and will be the chip leader when the action resumes with a stack of 1,363,000. He is one of six players with a seven-figure stack followed by Minh Quang Nguyen, while Ami Barer is also among the top stacks having advanced with 1,054,000.

| 9 | Istvan Birizdo | Hungary | 897,000 | 90 |
| 10 | James Mendoza | Philippines | 884,000 | 88 |
TLPT co-founder Quan Zhou sits just outside of seven figures with 964,000 and is one of many Chinese card sharks involved in the action today. There are several Chinese and international WSOP bracelet winners still in contention such as Renji Mao, Dominik Nitsche, Lei Yu, Dong Chen, Yinan Zhou and Calvin Lee.
The action resumes with two repeat blind levels during the final stages of the registration period with blinds of 5,000-10,000/10,000 and 6,000-12,000/12,000 respectively. Once the cards are back in the air after the second break of the day, the late registration for this event will officially close. All players seeking to join will receive 250,000 in chips, still providing enough wiggle room to navigate the high-stakes action.
As far as the penultimate tournament day is concerned, the schedule has it planned to play down to the nine-handed final table which will then be streamed on tomorrow's grand finale on the TLPT social media channels. There will also be live stream action today as well with a security delay of 30 minutes and the PokerNews reporting team will follow that delay for every update once the final three tables have been reached.
