Action Turn for Kruk

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

We picked up four-way action after a flop of {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Steve Anderson bet 1,500 after three checks and received three callers. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and the player first to act led for 5,000. Ron Kruk moved all in and action folded back to the original bettor. He made the call and tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, but was behind Kruk who turned over {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the turned full house.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and Kruk sent his opponent to the rail.

Woj Gets Value

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

After an under-the-gun limp, Erik Wojtuniecki raised to 800 and received three callers, including the original limper. The flop was {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Wojtuniecki bet 1,600 after a check. He received one caller and they saw a {5-Clubs} on the turn. Wojtuniecki bet 2,225 and was called.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and "Woj", as his friends call him, fired 3,300. After some thought, his opponent called, but mucked after Woj tabled {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

Joke is on Powers

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Marc Powers moved all in after a flop of {4-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Satish Thakur quickly made the call, tabling {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the flopped set. Powers was behind with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} runout left the Poker Joker Gear founder without the flush and without any chips.

Powers headed toward the rail as Thakur stacked his chips.

Baumgartner Applies Pressure

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

We picked up the action on the flop with five-way action and a board of {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Jake Baumgartner called a bet of 1,250 from his opponent and they were heads up to the {q-Clubs} turn. Baumgartner called his opponent's bet of 2,800 and the {a-Spades} fell on the river. Baumgartner's opponent checked and Baumgartner thought for a moment and then bet 6,200. His opponent contemplated before finally sending his cards to the muck.

Fairchild Coolers Opponent

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Craig Fairchild and an opponent got all of the chips in preflop and Fairchild not only had the over pair, but also two blockers as they tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} respectively. The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} and Fairchild sent his opponent to the rail.

Queen-High Good for a Nice One

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

We walked up to a board of {4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Kosto Petrovich check-called a bet of 3,500 from his opponent. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and Petrovich again check-called, this time for 7,000. The {8-Clubs} river brought two checks and Petrovich said "you're good I missed," but his opponent rolled over {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Petrovich showed {q-Spades}{j-Spades} to take the pot.

Tang Doubles

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Pei Tang raised to 675 from early position and received two callers. The flop was {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Tang fired a continuation bet of 1,100, which was met with a raise to 5,000. The second opponent folded and Tang moved all in for 16,100. After some thought, Tang's opponent called and tabled {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, drawing very slim versus the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Tang. The {j-Spades} turn and {4-Clubs} river gave Tang the double up.
