Three Players, Two Winners, One Missed Draw

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Billy Castillo, who was leading in chips with over 100,000 is now down to under 30,000 after the last hour and one big hand. Dave Grandin tripled up on that hand and Ben Wiora gained about 10,000 chips when it was over.

The flop was {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Castillo bet 4,000. Grandin went all in and Wiora reshoved all in over the top. Castillo snap called and the three players were all in.

Castillo was in last place, but had a big draw with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Grandin flopped the nuts with {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a king-high straight and Wiora had two pair with {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The board ran out with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Grandin would hold on to triple up. Wiora won the side pot and Castillo just shrugged his shoulders after missing a draw that could have eliminated both players and brought him back to over 100,000.

For Whom Ziebell Doth Toll

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Travis Lawson shoved the river for 34,175 on a board of {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Byron Ziebell had one question.

"Can you still rebuy at this level?" he asked before making his decision.

Kirby Rogers raised had raised preflop to 600 and Duma Lowery and Ziebell called before Lawson reraised to 2,000. Rogers and Lowery both folded and Ziebell called.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Ziebell checked to Lawson who bet 2,250. Ziebell called.

He checked again when the {4-Clubs} hit the turn and Lawson bet again. This time he bet 3,750, Ziebell called.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Ziebell checked for a third time. Lawson instantly shoved all in for 34,175 and put Ziebell into the tank.

After asking if he would still be able to rebuy this level, and a player calling for the clock, Ziebell called and Lawson turned over a bluff with {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Ziebell eliminated Lawson when he showed {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.
