Lucky Seven's Give Tran the Double

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Andy Tran
Andy Tran

After an initial raise of 1,600, four players saw a {7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop.

Action was checked to the button player who fired out 2,500 and Andy Tran raised to 6,000 from middle position. Action folded back to the button player who called.

The {5-Spades} fell on the turn and Tran lead out for 13,000. The button player quickly moved all in and was snap-called by Tran.

Andy Tran: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Tran flopped a set of sevens and got a double-up of 35,000 after the {9-Spades} river completed the board.

Wazwaz Flushes Scratch

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Rob Wazwaz
Rob Wazwaz

Rob Wazwaz opened for 1,300 from early position and Thao "Scratch" Thiem called from the cutoff. The player in the small blind came along before Brandon Temple three-bet to 6,200 from the big.

Wazwaz called and Thiem four-bet jammed for 21,000. The small blind folded, Temple released, and Wazwaz thought for a bit before dropping in the call.

Thao Thiem: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Rob Wazwaz: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

It was a flip and Scratch was looking to hold to more than double. That didn't happen though as the {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} all-heart flop gave Wazwaz a flush. The {a-Spades} turn left Scratch drawing dead and he headed for the exit after the meaningless {8-Hearts} was run out on the river.

Jason Sell
Jason Sell

David Vig limped in under the gun along with the player sitting directly on his left. Action was Jason Sell who raised to 2,400 from middle position and he was called by Vig.

The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Vig check-called Sell's 2,500 continuation bet.

The turn paired the board with the {6-Spades} and Vig checked his option once again. Sell fired out another bullet for 4,000 and Vig called to see the {3-Spades} river complete the board.

Vig lead out for 7,000 and was snap-called by Sell whoo tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for the nut-flush but it was no good as Vig turned over {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a full house and raked in the chips.

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Brandon Temple
Brandon Temple

Luke Vrabel opened action for 1,000 from middle position and PokerNews's Brandon Temple three-bet jammed for 6,500 sitting directly to his left. Action folded around to the small blind player who called and Vrabel mucked his hand.

Brandon Temple: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Temple was behind but took the lead after the {10-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop.

The {4-Diamonds} turn changed nothing and Temple needed to dodge any king or jack to stay alive.

Luckily for Temple, the river came the {2-Spades} to give him the much needed double.
