Bennett Wins Flip to Avoid Elimination

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Michael Bennett
Michael Bennett

Bryant Miller raised to 16,000 from the hijack and Michael Bennett moved all in on the button for 97,000. The action got back around to Miller and he had to give it some thought before he eventually called.

Bryant Miller: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Michael Bennett: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Miller only had four outs remaining in the deck after the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} flop was dealt. Bennett locked it up on the {q-Spades} turn and the {a-Hearts} completed the board to double Bennett up.

Brandon Sinawi Bubbles 2019 MSPT Michigan State Poker Championship

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Brandon Sinawi
Brandon Sinawi

Hyung Cho moved all in for 110,000 under the gun and Brandon Sinawi called off for 89,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded and the hands were turned up.

Hyung Cho: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Brandon Sinawi: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Sinawi was primed for a double and maintained the lead on both the {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop and {4-Diamonds} turn.

All he had to do was dodge a queen on the river to double on the bubble, but that proved easier said than done as the {q-Spades} spiked to send Sinawi out the door emptyhanded in 172nd place.
