The second flight of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Venetian $1,600 Main Event is set to get underway at 11:10 a.m. local time.

Day 1a drew 275 total entries and play ended with 34 players remaining. Josh Bobrosky bagged the chip lead of the first flight with an impressive stack of 675,000. Today, another group of players will try to challenge that mark.

Following behind Bobrosky were Jeff Hill (513,000), Rob Wazwaz (474,000), Andrew Rogers (468,000), and Jarod Minghini (420,000).

Others to punch their tickets to Day 2 holding over a 300k stack were fromer MSPT Venetian Main Event Champion Landon Tice (380,000), Anton Wigg (359,000), Asher Conniff(340,000), and and WSOP bracelet winner Zhi Wu (304,000

Day 1b Schedule

The second starting flight will be identical to its first as the day will end once fifteen 40-minute levels are completed. All players will start with 30,000 in chips with 15-minute breaks coming after every two hours of play. All players are allowed unlimited re-entry per starting flight and registration will remain open until the end of Level 9.

Once the final level is completed, all remaining players will bag up for the night and will combine with Day 1a players for Day 2 action on Thursday, October 21st at 11 a.m. local time.
